Before I start
It's coming around to the Holiday Season and as usual, I start my preparations. This year it is hard to figure out exactly what I am going to do to celebrate the event. If I open the doors of the Rose Studio to select client and friends what am I going to do to interest them in coming at all? Usually, the theme around the Open House is a Fabulous Holiday GiveAway. The question remains as to exactly what I am going to give away.
Saving Time, Energy and Stock
If I want to solve my condition of poverty one of my priorities is to amass stock. And I have so many tasks that remain undone. Taking into account a severe lack of time, energy, and resources, I think the solution is to combine two things I usually do at this time. I usually combine a Giveaway of the collectibles that I amass throughout the year with a relatively sizeable mailing of Holiday Gift cards. This year perhaps I will give out the cards to select guests as part of the Rose Studio Open House.
Trouble Before the Mail Gets Done
But before all that takes place, I first have to fill out the Holiday Seasons Cards. Last week I tried to run out my labels to put on the seasons greeting cards, and, as usual, the thing didn't work out. My system kept on rejecting the word document that I needed to open to get the labels done. Over and over it refused it. After several lengthy conversations with a Microsoft rep, I finally checked my Bell account yesterday. Sure enough, the trouble lay with Bell, not with Microsoft. For your information, Microsoft is the company that creates the word software. But without Bell, the communications people, I can't use it.
The problem lies with my cell phone. I have paid off the money for the phone with a two-year contract and the conditions for use is about the change. Practically that means there will be a pretty big decrease in the amount I have to pay each month.
